Beginner Courses
CM1 - Introduction to cosmetic medicine
Unsure if cosmetic nursing is for you but want to give it a try? This course is a perfect introduction into the profession, arming you with the basic skills needed to find employment within the cosmetic field.
Course structure:
Day 1-3: Online theory modules.
(these must be completed before training dates below).
Day 4: Recap theory and safety, shadow trainers injecting clients.
Day 5: Practical anti-wrinkle practice.
Day 6: Practical lip and cheek filler practice.
Day 7: Practical anti-wrinkle and filler practice.
(students will be injecting a minimum of 10 clients through the week under trainer supervision)
Course Duration: 1 week

*Prerequisites All students undertaking beginner courses through FaceMed Cosmetic Training must be currently practising nurses or doctors registered with AHPRA.
CM4 - Comprehensive introduction cosmetic medicine course
Want more practical experience but busy working yourself? Our intermediate course offers flexible study days and the opportunity to practice on approximately 25 models.
Course structure:
Weeks 1-2: Extensive online theory modules and quiz (these must be completed and passed before practical training dates). Students have the option of early access to the online modules if they feel they will require longer than 4 weeks to complete.
Week 3: Practical skills component
Day 1: Recap theory and safety, shadow trainers injecting clients.
Day 2: Practical anti-wrinkle practice.
Day 3: Practical lip and cheek filler practice.
(students will be injecting a minimum of 8 clients through the week under trainer supervision)
Week 4:
Day 4: Practical anti-wrinkle and filler practice.
Day 5: Practical anti-wrinkle and filler practice.
Day 6: Practical anti-wrinkle and filler practice.
Day 7: Practical anti-wrinkle and filler practice.
(students will be injecting a minimum of 15 clients through the week under trainer supervision)
