FaceMed was born out of a desire to provide comprehensive, tailored and practical education to nurses and doctors desiring to excel within the cosmetic industry.
Directors, Nurse Marina and Nurse Jana, have a combined 10+ years experience in cosmetic medicine and aesthetic treatments. They saw a gap in the industry, where most nurses and doctors were feeling under-prepared and lacking confidence to perform treatments following their completion of short cosmetic courses available within Australia.
Together, Nurse Marina and Nurse Jana sought to fill this gap and provide ongoing theoretical and practical education to their students.

Nurse Marina
Cosmetic Nurse Marina is a renowned injector, owning and running one of Australia’s busiest and well-known clinics, Bella Donna Injectables n Skin.
Marina completed her nursing degree at Southern Cross University and immediately entered the Hospital system, working across a variety of wards. After gaining this experience, Marina worked in an injectables clinic and quickly moved to set up her own. Starting in a small room, Marina has since established 2 busy and thriving clinics, across Queensland and New South Wales, and heads a nursing team of 5.
Marina is passionate about equipping new nurses with the practical skills required for success within the industry. Alongside Nurse Jana, Marina has travelled the world training in the latest and greatest techniques and looks forward to passing these skills on to those training with Face Med.
Nurse Jana
Cosmetic Nurse Jana is a highly sought-after cosmetic nurse with a background in acute medical and emergency nursing and research.
Jana originally graduated her Bachelor of Nursing from Southern Cross University, where she was awarded the Chancellors academic excellence award and Harry Shand memorial prize for high academic achievement. Following this, Jana completed her post graduate honours degree in human health sciences and was awarded first division honours as well as the prestigious Southern Cross University medal for high academic achievement.
Since then, Jana has trained under some of the most highly regarded doctors and nurses world-wide, in both the hospital and cosmetic setting.
Over the past few years, she has carved a name for herself as an ethical, results driven and patient focused aesthetics provider, who is known for her full facial artistry, signature lips and consistently producing flawless and natural results.
She is passionate about education, anatomy, and safety and adverse event prevention.
